Donegal Natural Dog Treats (“Donegal Natural,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a wholesale dog-treat business in Marietta, Pennsylvania. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through www.donegalnaturaldogtreats.com and the wholesale portal, how we use it, who we share it with, and how to contact us.
This policy is for our public website and business-customer portal. It is written for U.S. wholesale customers and site visitors. It is not legal advice.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide, information created when you use the Services, and information from service providers that help us operate the site.
- Wholesale inquiries. Owner or buyer name, company name, email, phone, street address, city, state, ZIP, business type, estimated monthly purchase amount, and your recorded agreement to the Terms of Use and this policy (including date, time, and document version).
- Account and profile. Email, name, company, role (customer, salesman, or admin), password (stored by our authentication provider, not in readable form on the public site), last login time, and similar account flags such as whether a password change is required.
- Customer records. Shipping and billing addresses, phone, assigned salesman, pricing status, notes you or we add for order handling, and resale-certificate information if you upload it (certificate number, expiration, and the file).
- Orders and invoices. Products, quantities, prices, shipping cost, credits, invoice number, order status, and related fulfillment details.
- Payment status. Whether an invoice is unpaid, processing, or paid. If online payment is used in the future, card or bank details are handled by the payment processor, not stored as full account numbers in the portal.
- Communications. Emails we send or receive about inquiries, credentials, orders, and support.
- Technical data. IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and basic security logs collected by our hosting and security providers.
2. How we use information
- Review wholesale applications and decide whether to open an account
- Create logins, send temporary credentials, and require a password change on first use
- Show account-specific pricing and process quotes and orders
- Arrange shipping, invoices, tax handling, and back orders
- Verify resale certificates and keep required business records
- Respond to support questions and send transactional notices (account, order, and similar)
- Secure the Services, prevent fraud or abuse, and diagnose problems
- Comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations
We do not use inquiry or portal data to sell advertising to you on third-party networks.
3. Cookies and local storage
The portal uses local storage in your browser to keep a signed-in session working and to remember a few display preferences. Our host and security tools may use cookies that are necessary to deliver the site, prevent abuse, or understand basic traffic. We do not run advertising pixels on the wholesale portal.
You can block cookies in your browser. Doing so may prevent login or form submission from working correctly.
4. Who we share information with
We share information only as needed to operate the business:
- Hosting and infrastructure — website hosting and content delivery (currently Vercel).
- Database and login — account and order storage and authentication (currently Supabase).
- Email — Google Workspace, used to send mail from addresses such as noreply@donegalnatural.com, with replies directed to support@donegalnatural.com or another published inbox as the message states.
- Shipping carriers — name and address needed to deliver an order.
- Accounting and invoicing tools — so we can bill and keep books.
- Professional advisers — accountants, banks, or lawyers when reasonably necessary.
- Legal and safety — if required by law, court order, or to protect Donegal Natural, our customers, or the public.
Assigned sales representatives see the customer and order information they need to serve your account. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. How long we keep information
We keep inquiry, account, order, tax, and certificate records for as long as the account is active and as long as we reasonably need them for operations, audits, tax, and legal disputes. When we no longer need information and are not required to keep it, we delete or de-identify it in the ordinary course of business.
6. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, and role-based portal permissions appropriate to a business of our size. No online service is completely secure. Please use a unique password and tell us if you suspect unauthorized access.
7. Your choices
- Update account or address information in the portal, or email support@donegalnatural.com.
- Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
- Request deletion, subject to records we must keep for orders, tax, or fraud prevention.
- Opt out of optional marketing email. You will still receive transactional messages needed to run your account or an order.
To make a request, email support@donegalnatural.com from the address on your account and tell us what you need. We may verify that you are the account holder before completing the request.
8. State privacy notices
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know, correct, or delete personal information, to obtain a portable copy, and to opt out of certain sharing. We do not sell personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that California law treats as requiring a separate limit-the-use right, other than to provide the Services you requested.
Authorized agents may submit a request if they provide proof of authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
If your state provides an appeal process after we deny a request, email support@donegalnatural.com with the subject line “Privacy Appeal.”
9. Children
The website and wholesale portal are for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not direct the Services to children. If you believe a child provided information, contact support@donegalnatural.com and we will delete it.
10. Email and notices
If you give us your email, we may send transactional messages about your inquiry, login, password, orders, and account. Marketing email, if we send it, will include a way to unsubscribe. We use a physical address in Marietta, Pennsylvania on commercial email as required.
11. Do Not Track
The site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals. We describe our cookies and local-storage use above.
12. International visitors
We operate in the United States. If you access the Services from another country, you understand that your information is processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
13. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes that affect existing portal customers may also be noted by email or in the portal. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
